01 The Experience
A DJ fills a room. A live horn over that DJ changes what the room is. The track your guests already know starts playing, and then a saxophone rises up out of it — improvising over the groove, answering the vocal line, pushing the energy right when the floor is ready for it. Heads turn. Phones come out.
This proposal covers live solo saxophone performed by Harvey Cummings II, playing alongside your DJ across cocktail hour and into the reception. I plug directly into your DJ's system, coordinate the set and key choices with him in advance, and move through the room rather than perform from a fixed position.
That's the format you described on Instagram — and it happens to be my favorite thing to do.
