There’s nothing simple about a Burns’ Brim. Every crown is burned, blocked and finished by hand by Marquise “Hollywood” Burns — a wearable piece of art built around the person underneath it.
The Craft
The signature Burns Brims finish begins with fire. Flame is drawn across raw felt to open the nap, char the edge and force the material to take on a character no factory press can imitate. What comes out the other side is scorched, shaped and singular — the reason the collection is called Fire Crowns.

Every brim the studio has released, photographed on the house block. Marked Available means ready to ship — the rest can be recreated as a commission in your size and colourway.

Tailor-made hats designed to your specifications. You work directly with Marquise — materials, shape, colour, brim width, the whole build. Whether it’s a red-carpet statement or a quiet everyday piece, it’s made around your head and your life.

Book a session and we talk it through — your style, the occasion, what you want the hat to say before you open your mouth. Nothing is drawn until we understand that.
Marquise builds a design proposal from your brief. Once you approve it, traditional hat-making technique and the studio’s burn-and-block finish turn it into a physical object.
Choose secure shipping — or the Full Brim Service, where Marquise flies out and hands it to you himself. Aftercare, maintenance and repair are included for the life of the hat.
